Beta Terms
Version 2026-10-26 · Effective 26 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and McMasters Holdings, LLC, which owns and operates Praxeri ("Praxeri", "we", "us"). You accept them when you tick the box and create your account. If you don't agree, please don't use Praxeri.
1. What the beta is
- Praxeri is in a private, invitation-only beta. It coordinates AI builders to work on your project: it writes their instructions, runs their work in isolated build environments, and shows you what changed and how it was checked.
- Features change, break and disappear during a beta. We may change or stop the beta at any time; we will tell you before we stop it and give you time to take your code and download your data.
- Praxeri charges no fee during the beta. Your trial costs you nothing: Praxeri pays for it. Outside the trial, you pay Anthropic directly for your own Claude plan and API usage (section 2).
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for yourself or for the business you represent.
2. Who pays for the AI work
- Builds run on your own Claude plan, which you sign in to with Anthropic. Chat runs on your own Anthropic API key. You pay Anthropic directly, under your own agreement with Anthropic, and you set the spending limit Praxeri works within.
- Your trial is the one exception: your first build and trial Chat run on Praxeri's own Anthropic API key, paid by Praxeri, within the limits shown to you. Praxeri labels trial work as "Paid by Praxeri".
- Praxeri passes your requests through to the AI provider. It never resells, marks up or pools AI usage, and never switches you to paid API billing without your explicit choice.
3. Your code and your content
- You own the code Praxeri builds for you and the content you bring. Where your code is kept during the trial, and how you move it, is set out in Code ownership & custody.
- You give us permission to store, copy and process your code and content only as needed to run Praxeri for you, including sending it to the AI provider and the tools you connect.
- We do not use your code or content to train AI models.
- You are responsible for reviewing what Praxeri builds before you rely on it or publish it. AI output can be wrong, insecure or similar to other people's code.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Praxeri to:
- build or run anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- break the rules of the AI provider or of a tool you connect (for example Anthropic's usage policies or GitHub's terms);
- attack, probe or overload Praxeri or anyone else's systems, or get around Praxeri's limits and safeguards;
- store regulated or sensitive data (health records, payment card numbers, government IDs) unless we have agreed that with you in writing;
- share your account, or let anyone use Praxeri through it.
5. Confidentiality
- We keep your projects confidential. Only you, the people you invite, and the small Praxeri team supervising the beta (when it is needed to support you, keep Praxeri safe or fix a problem) can see them.
- The beta itself is confidential too: please don't publish screenshots, recordings or details of unreleased Praxeri features without asking us first. Telling people you are in the beta is fine.
6. Feedback
We'd love your feedback. If you give us ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve Praxeri, without paying you or owing you anything for them. This never gives us rights to your code or your project.
7. Suspension and ending
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts Praxeri, other founders or a provider at risk, or if the beta ends. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.
- You can stop at any time: move your code, download your data, and delete your account in Account › You.
- Sections 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 keep applying after the beta or your access ends.
8. Provided as is
Praxeri is a beta and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will work without interruption, that its output is correct or fit for a particular purpose, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important.
9. Limited liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, McMasters Holdings, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from the beta. Because Praxeri charges no fee for the beta, our total liability for any claim about it is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some places do not allow these limits; where they don't, they apply as far as the law permits.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated, for example after legal review. Each version has its own date and version number. When they change, you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue; until then, the version you accepted applies.
